Government Railway Police (GRP) along with District Special Branch (DSB) arrested Montu Singh from Nowada Bihar with explosive material like 12 jeletine,12 detonator and fuse wire from North East Express train at Guwahati Railway Station in Guwahti, Assam on Wednesday, 23rd may 2012. Montu Singh brought the explosive material from Mizoram. Security have been beefed in the city as UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to visit Guwahati on 26th May 2012 where as a protest ULFA had given Assam bandh on that day.
