Workers preparing a temporary helipad, at Nehru Stadium ground in Guwahati on Thursday, April 19, 2012. The helipad was made for the Prime Ministers visit to Guwahati on 20th April 2012. According to the officials the prime minister will arrive at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, in Guwahati on the morning of April 20 and immediately proceed to Nehru stadium in the heart of the city in a chopper. Security has been beefed up in the city in view of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's will visit to Guwahati on April 20, 2012.
