Hundreds of people thronged near a swamp at Chachal in Guwahati on Monday 25th June 2012, to collect currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 which were found floating in the swamp, as the news about the currency notes spread, people in the area thronged the spot. People were seen fishing out currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 from the swamp near the Ginger Hotel in Chachal.
