A five days old Mithun calf, the first ever Embryo Transfer Technology (ETT) Mithun (Bos Frontalis) is seen at National Research Centre on Mithun at Jharnapani, some 30 kms away from Dimapur, India’s north eastern state of Nagaland on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The Embryo Transfer Technology (ETT) Mithun was deliver on March 27 at the research centre by a group of five scientists. Mithun, a semi-domesticated animal is found in the foothills of the Himalayan region which includes northeastern India, parts of Bhutan, Myanmar, China and Bangladesh.
